Professur Maschinenelemente und Produktentwicklung

Since the beginning of April, Mr. Tobias Hentschel strengthens the research group WNV/Strength. We welcome him cordially at our professorship. Mr. Hentschel completed his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences including an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic. He then completed his master’s degree in mechanical engineering at Chemnitz University of Technology with specialization in design engineering and product development. He wrote and successfully defended his master’s thesis on the topic of “Numerical analysis of the transmission capability of force-fit and form-fit longitudinal press assemblies with deduction of analytical design specifications” at our professorship. In his research project he will work on a design method for internal knurl press connections. The professorship is looking forward to pleasant and smooth teamwork.
