From 17th to 20th of July Lukas Suchy and Sebastian Vetter from the Professorship Machine Elements and Product Development took part in the „18th International Conference on New Trends in Fatigue and Fracture“ in Lisbon. Participants consisted of scientists and industry representatives from more than 20 nations. The conference offered the platform for controversial discussion of the latest findings and experiences in the field of damage prevention and assessment as well as strength calculations. Due to this orientation, the contributions of the Institute Engineering Design and Drive Technology in the field of shaft-hub connections met with great interest.
