Thanks to a generous donation from Schaeffler, we were recently able to collect a roller bearing test rig from their site in Skalica. After a symbolic handshake on site, the equipment was safely loaded, with our transport team expertly handling the heavy machinery through the logistical challenges. Despite frosty temperatures in Slovakia, the journey went smoothly and offered not only valuable technical exchange but also warm encounters with our Slovak colleagues.
The test rig will enrich our research going forward. However, we are not yet revealing our exact plans for this system. This project once again highlights the valuable cooperation between industry and academia and opens up new experimental possibilities for us.
