The Human-Environment-Technology (MUT) program at Chemnitz University of Technology is designed to cultivate female innovators. To achieve this, we combine knowledge and skills from many disciplines with a creative drive and the courage to innovate. That’s why we begin the program with the Environmental Module, where we take 15 field trips to explore different parts of the world, guided by experts. We’ve visited places like bogs, mountain meadows, and the tropics, as well as a uranium mine; we’ve simulated the UN Climate Conference and explored aquaponics. It’s wonderful to see how these field trips help participants develop a coherent worldview.
