The VDI symposium ‚Shaft-Hub-Connections 2020‘ offers the opportunity to obtain comprehensive and practical information about progress in the design of shaft-hub-connections and in the understanding of damage mechanisms. The symposium will take place in Stuttgart from 11th to 12th November 2020. It is aimed in particular at manufacturers of shaft-hub connections, operating companies, testing institutes, universities and research institutes. The IKAT is represented with three presentations on the topics

• Fretting fatigue (Dipl.-Ing. S. Hauschild),
• Strength calculation of hollow shaft press-fit connections (Dipl.-Ing. C. Günther) and
• Transferability of model-based static friction coefficients (J. Schanner, M. Sc).
