On 11.10.2018 Mr. Müller defended his thesis and was rewarded for his outstanding performance! The work on the topic „Statistical analysis of a standardised test method for determining static friction values“ was able to validate the usage of the standard normal distribution to the test method as expected on the basis of a large random sample (89 tests under the same conditions). The newly introduced methods represent a contribution to highly qualified results, i.e. statistically verified Coefficients of Friction, which are determined with the industrially widely recognised test method. The professorship thanks the young academic for this outstanding achievement and Prof. Götze and Dr. Schmidt of the Chair of Management Accounting and Control for the cooperative support and economic evaluation of the work.
