In the course of the expansion of the test field, the heart of the Chair of Machine Elements and Product Development, some of the test benches were extended in their scope of performance. The HPP100 hydraulic pulsator test rig was equipped with new drive and control technology. This enables flexible user-defined test sequences, the recording of additional measured variables at high measuring frequencies, and adaptation to any test components. As a result, the HPP100 covers a wider range of test scenarios (e.g. arbitrary load spectra) and evaluation options for materials and component testing. This and other test rigs, as well as the newly designed plain bearing center at the opposite end of the hall, can be viewed in the test area of Hall G.
