On 1 March 2024, Mr. Maik Zylla successfully defended his diploma thesis in front of an expert examination committee headed by Prof. Hasse. In his thesis ‚Investigation of the joining and torsional behaviour of combined press-fit and form-fit shaft-hub connections using the example of the external knurled press-fit connection‘, useful extension approaches for existing design concepts were formulated and validated on the basis of numerous experimental investigations. The results represent a valuable contribution to current research and consolidate IKAT’s expertise in the design and testing of knurled press-fit connections.
