T-Book 2 surprised at Frankfurter Buchmesse

Where is the sound coming from? Where did you hide the speakers? Sounding paper pages? Impossible!

Just some of the questions we had to answer at Frankfurter Buchmesse last week… After many exciting discussions with many different visitors (publishers, book manufacturers, book sellers, technology scouts, etc.) we can proudly say – our new T-Book 2 has surprised. Despite the heavy busy noise of a huge fare hall surrounding us, the sounding book fascinated everybody. Most important for us, we could catch up many interesting ideas for further improvements and applications.

We would like to thank CPI Deutschland for the great chance to be part of its booth and the warm welcome within the team around Oliver Kranert and Robert Höllein.

Furthermore, we would like to thank the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) for financial support. You can find a report on the T-Book on the website of BMBF (in German).

T-Book 2

The first demonstrator of the project T-paper will be presented for the first time at Frankfurter Buchmesse. After the great success of the first generation of our T-Book presented in 2015, we are proud to show the second generation to the professional visitors of the fare now.

You can find us exclusively on Thursday, October 12th 2017, at the booth of CPI Deutschland (Hall 4.0, F73).

Welcome!

Great feedback to press release

After publishing the start of our T-paper project, big media interest could be created. Different newspapers and online portals reporting about the paper-based loudspeakers. Yesterday, Deutschlandfunk broadcasted a story about our developments and interviewed project leader Dr. Georg Schmidt. You can listen to the report here.
