It was a pleasure to attend this year’s OIPEEC Conference in Bardolino. In addition to the excellent conference program, which covered the latest research on steel wire ropes and fiber ropes, the supporting program for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the OIPEEC was also outstanding. We were particularly pleased with the lecture by Prof. Oplatka, who presented the history of the OIPEEC. We congratulate the winners of the Best Paper Award and would like to thank the organizers for the outstanding event. See you next time.
