Webprinting via Papercut account

This is a service to print PDF documents via the browser regardless of the end device.
The print goal for this service is always „FindMe“.
This service can be used by all students and employees of the TUC within the WI-FI, or also from home via VPN.
It also works from our PCs, or they can be tested with it.
Advantages are that the installation of any printer driver is unnecessary as well as the possibility to print at each MFG.
Notes:
A sufficient printing credit must be available. Employees can also use printing by cost center.
The webprinting service print every multipage file two-sided and in
colour.

Procedure

1. Access the online printing in the Papercut account by the link.

2. Specifying the number of copies of the printouts and and selection of the debit via the personal account or the cost center

3. Selection of the file to be printed:
It is really only possible to upload PDF files. Once the file is selected, click on „Upload and Finish“.

4. In the 4th step the file is printed. You can release the file for printing directly from your Papercut account by clicking on „held in a queue“ (Wartet auf Freigabe).

Once this has been done, printing can be started directly via „Print“.

Or the leaving the printouts on „Waiting for release“ enables direct release at the desired MFG – Logging on to the selected device – Release list is displayed

If uploading PDF files does not work at all, it does not upload them or the file gets stuck in a loop while loading, please send an email to Computing Center support.
