Help! – Become a volunteer beta tester

There are many ways to help at the emergence of your TUCapp. One of them is to become a beta tester.

What does beta testing mean?
The letter “beta” is known from the Greek alphabet and that is where the name comes from. When creating an app, there are several stages that are passed through in the development process. Before the beta version comes the alpha version – a first incomplete version that does not yet have all the features but works. ‎Then we need you, because you should help us with the beta version of the TUCapp. In this phase, the app is not completely finished but already has all the planned functions. The probably faulty or unstable basic functions of the TUCapp should be checked for errors, such as crashes or bugs, before the final release. You are now given the task of providing the TUCapp development team with feedback on any errors that you have noticed when using the application. Even irrelevant errors should be reported so that the TUCapp developers can publish the ideal version of the app.

How can you help us?
The way you can install the beta version of the TUCapp depends on on your mobile device. Users with Android can easily register for the beta version at the Google Playstore. If you use iOs on your devices, please contact us with your Apple ID: support@hrz.tu-chemnitz.de

Also tell your friends and fellow students about the beta test. The more volunteers who support us, the more feedback we get on our beta version and the more bugs we can find and fix.
