The GitLab service of the TU Chemnitz offers all users of the TU Chemnitz and all Saxon universities participating via SaxID the possibility to develop software together. In addition to version management based on Git, the service provides support for project management, quality assurance and release management.
During maintenance, we will update the operating system from Scientific Linux 7 to Debian 11 and incorporate the service into the new URZ management platform. Since more and more people are using our GitLab service and thus the number of projects is also steadily increasing, the resources of the service will also be expanded in this context.
During maintenance from 8pm to midnight, GitLab will not be usable. Both the web interface and the Git SSH access and all interfaces (e.g. GitLab Runner) will not be available during this time.
