Maintenance work on the Raabestraße data network on 19.09.2022

On 19.09.2022, maintenance work will take place on the central building node in the Raabestraße part of the university between 6 and 7 pm. A software update on the backbone routers is planned. According to the manufacturer, the update will be uninterrupted due to router redundancy.

In November of this year, the project to renew the campus network backbone was completed. The university locations are now equipped with the latest network technology, which implements redundant and high-performance connections with 100 GB/s between the locations and with 50 GB/s to the German Research Network (DFN).
